About us
Hi! I'm Shelby! I am a Christian, wife and mom to the sweetest little boy!
Here's my story:
After graduating from Marshall County High School in 2010, I went on to pursue a nursing degree at West Kentucky Community and Technical College and then to Indiana Wesleyan University where I earned my Bachelor of Nursing Degree. After six years as a registered nurse at Baptist Health, I decided I wanted to move into the family business and get closer to home.
I started working on opening a clothing & gift boutique inside the existing store space of family-owned Shop-O-Rama in Draffenville. 65 & Oak Boutique officially opened in March of 2021 and has developed into an important part of the overall business at Shop-O-Rama. The boutique offers trendy, affordable fashion for all ages and those who are looking for something different!
How did I choose the name you ask? Shop-O-Rama started in Draffenville in 1965. Fifty-six years later we have just completed a storefront renovation with oak timbers being a big part of the design. So, we felt the name of the boutique should somehow bring the old and the new together and we came up with 65 & Oak Boutique!
I am committed to growing the business and looking ahead for new trends and customer needs. The boutique will be geared for girls and ladies looking for younger styles and unique looks at an affordable price! Come see us, we think you’ll like it!
